The new standard for SW lure baitcasting rods has been born. Designed specifically for PE line, set to be used confidently with SALTIST reels. All feature a tubular top design considering castability. The 74LB/711MLB model offers a sharp, smooth casting with a standard joint design, while the 84MB/92HB/89XHB models are designed with a reverse joint to firmly support lures up to the butt.

Considering suitable reel sizes and lure weights, models up to 84MB use an Air Sensor blank touch seat. Models 92HB and above adopt Fuji TCS reel seats. The image shows 92HB.

X45

To prevent twisting during casting, action, hooking, and fighting, extensive research concluded that wrapping bias-structured carbon fiber, including at 0°, 90°, and diagonally at 45°, on the rod tip is optimal. The inclusion of X45 reduces twisting, enhances power, operability, and sensitivity dramatically.

AIR SENSOR SEAT

The Air Sensor seat with carbon fiber improves lightweight, high strength, and high sensitivity. Designed specifically for the rod's purpose, it offers operability that cannot be experienced with general reel seats.

V-JOINT

By adopting a bias-structured carbon sheet at the joint of the rod, it achieves a beautiful, minimal-distortion bend similar to a one-piece rod. Compared to non-equipped models, power, stiffness, and return speed from bending are significantly improved, creating an ideal action.

HVF Carbon

In the carbon sheet that most influences rod performance, Daiwa focuses not only on high elasticity of the carbon fibers themselves but also on the amount of adhesive resin that binds the fibers. By reducing excess resin and increasing the density of carbon fibers, the "High-Density HVF Carbon" becomes more muscular and powerful. It is an optimal material for rods emphasizing toughness and strength.
