A new standard for SW lure baitcasting rods has been born. Designed specifically for PE lines, it is set to be used confidently with SALTIST reels. All models feature a tubular top for improved casting. The 74LB/711MLB model offers a sharp, smooth casting experience with a standard joint design, while the 84MB/92HB/89XHB models are designed with a reverse joint to firmly support the lure up to the butt.

X45

To prevent twisting during casting, action, hooking, and fighting, extensive research concluded that wrapping bias carbon fibers at 0°, 45°, and 90° angles on the rod tip is optimal. The inclusion of X45 prevents twisting and dramatically improves power, operability, and sensitivity.


AIR SENSOR SEAT

The Air Sensor seat with carbon fiber content achieves lightweight, high strength, and high sensitivity. It is specially designed for different rod uses, providing operability that cannot be experienced with general reel seats.


V-JOINT

By adopting a bias structure carbon sheet at the joint of the rod, it achieves a beautiful, minimal-distortion bend similar to a one-piece rod. Compared to non-equipped models, power, stiffness, and return speed from bending are significantly improved, creating an ideal action.


HVF Carbon

In the carbon sheet affecting rod performance, Daiwa focused not only on increasing the elasticity of the carbon fibers themselves but also on the amount of adhesive resin binding the fibers. By reducing excess resin and increasing the density of the carbon fibers, the high-density HVF carbon becomes more muscular and powerful, making it ideal for rods emphasizing toughness and strength.
