The new standard for SW lure bait rods has been born. Designed specifically for PE line, it is set to a balance that allows you to cast confidently with SALTIST reels. All are tube-top construction considering castability. The 74LB/711MLB model features a sharp, smooth casting design with a multi-section construction, while the 84MB/92HB/89XHB models are designed with reverse multi-section construction to firmly support lures up to the butt.

X45

To prevent twisting during casting, action, hooking, and fighting, extensive research concluded that the optimal method to prevent twisting is to wind carbon fibers, such as bias cross fibers inclined at 45°, in addition to the conventional 0° and 90° orientations on the rod tip. With the inclusion of X45, twisting is prevented, dramatically improving power, operability, and sensitivity.


AIR SENSOR SEAT

Lightweight, high-strength, high-sensitivity air sensor seat with carbon fiber. Designed specifically for the rod's purpose, it provides operability that cannot be experienced with general reel seats.


V-JOINT

By adopting a bias-structured carbon sheet at the joint of the rod, it achieves a beautiful, minimal-distortion bend similar to a one-piece rod. Compared to non-equipped models, power, tension, bend, and return speed are significantly improved, creating an ideal action.


HVF Carbon

In the carbon sheet that most influences rod performance, Daiwa focuses not only on increasing the elasticity of the carbon fibers themselves but also on the amount of adhesive resin that binds the carbon fibers. The "high-density HVF carbon," which reduces excess resin and increases the density of the carbon fibers, is more muscular and powerful. It is an ideal material for rods emphasizing toughness and strength.
