Manufacturer's description
A lightweight series with a standard hard tip action
Based on stock theory design, now a standard for hera rods with a hard tip action
A new standard series of multi-section hera rods with a lightweight design. Capable of delicate fishing from short lengths to longer, more powerful models, reducing weight beyond class expectations.
Available in 11 items covering all fields, from short to long lengths.
Smooth bending design based on stock theory, enabling smooth casting and retrieval.
X45 to prevent rod wobble during casting and retrieval
V-Joint that generates power to lift hera with smooth bending of the joint.
A fine diameter tubular tip of 1.0mm that achieves a lightweight and sharp tip response.
A super-fine hera-specific tip to prevent line tangles.
New bag-knit grip that resists bait sticking and can be held firmly.
Hard tip action capable of handling large hera comfortably.
First in hera rods to offer 1.5-shaku lineups.
Easy to cast, easy to hook, and easy to bring in. Flexible hard tip action.
A hera rod with reliable performance and good fishing feel, characterized by high basic performance—easy to cast bait, easy to hook, and easy to bring in hera. At its core, the beauty of the arc drawn by Daiwa’s multi-section hera rods is fundamental. The HERA V, though a hard tip action, bends smoothly without stagnation or jamming, and the entire rod works properly during casting and hooking without wobbling of the body. It is flexible and mild in feel but not sluggish. As a lightweight, hard tip action design, it responds quickly to hera anglers’ operations, providing a sharp, responsive feel.

TECHNOLOGY
Stock Theory
Stock Theory is a unique design method inspired by the traditional hera rod craftsmanship of Japanese bamboo rod artisans, utilizing the advantages of carbon materials. It achieves smooth bending by shifting the apex of the bend, allowing the rod to function smoothly under different load directions and amounts. This results in excellent casting performance even against headwinds, good water-cutting during hooking, and smooth retrieval, providing comfortable operation.
X45
A structure that prevents twisting, revolutionizing power and operability.
Conventional structure: by winding carbon fibers at 0° and 90° angles relative to the rod tip, and using Daiwa’s original bias cross 45° weave, twisting is prevented, dramatically improving power, operability, and sensitivity.
V-JOINT: V-Joint
Smooth bending of the joint achieves the ideal action and enhanced power. Daiwa’s original bias structure is used at the joint connection. This ensures smooth bending at the joint, improving power, response, and sensitivity.
スムーズな節の曲がりが理想の調子とパワーアップを実現。節の合わせ部分にDAIWA独自のバイアス構造を採用。合わせ部のスムーズな曲がりを実現し、パワー レスポンス 感度が向上。
