The concept is realized by adopting SMT, Mega Top, ultra-fine tubular, etc., creating a delicate tip that allows for enjoyable operation. The main material is SVF Nanoplus, designed for a flexible blank that suppresses stiffness, allowing you to experience a high-quality jigging different from RT models.
Blanks twisting directly affects casting and jigging performance. To thoroughly eliminate twisting, reinforced structure X45 was adopted, significantly increasing rigidity.
Slimmer butt section, increased joint strength, and adoption of V joint α with reverse parallel connection aimed at achieving a beautiful finish.
Guides equipped with 'AGS' C-ring and N-ring. Revisions to the setup have further miniaturized the guides.
AGS fixation is CWS. The increased fixing force has also shortened the guide foot, resulting in a more compact fixation and further bringing out the original performance of the blank.
Equipped with ultra-lightweight Daiwa original Air Sensor Seat.
Shortened fore grip allows for blank touch with fingertips.

ESS Expert Sense Simulation

The 'ESS' (Expert Sense System) rod's design is based on the energy recovery force that occurs when bending in the opposite direction. This is strain energy that tries to return the deformed, distorted blank to its original shape, a very important factor influencing rod performance. DAIWA developed a system to analyze and design this strain energy. It allows clear numerical understanding of "what is excellent" and "what is lacking," and can reflect expert sensibility into the rod design. An innovative rod design system 'ESS' that creates rods beyond the ideal.


AGS Air Guide System

Lightweight, high-sensitivity 'AGS' air guide system. The carbon frame's lightness improves distance and control performance. Carbon, with about three times the rigidity of titanium, transmits even the faintest signals directly to the blank without absorption, providing high sensitivity.


SMT Super Metal Top

Using super-elastic titanium alloy, the 'SMT' Super Metal Top achieves astonishing sensitivity impossible with carbon materials. The super-elastic titanium alloy, which transmits vibrations for a long time, is tubular hollow or solid structure tailored to each rod type, hybridized with carbon or glass materials to pursue an ideal action.


X45 Full Shield X45 Cobra Shield

Designed to thoroughly eliminate twisting during dynamic actions such as casting, action, hooking, and fighting, the X45 Full Shield uses 45-degree carbon bias cross from the outermost layer to reinforce the tip where twisting is most likely to occur, greatly improving torsional rigidity. This enhances casting accuracy and brings out the rod's inherent performance.

MEGATOP

The Megatop is a carbon solid with evenly distributed fibers and resin, showing similar bending in all directions. This allows for the creation of thin, flexible, high-taper tips. It significantly improves sensitivity, both tactile and visual, characteristic of carbon materials.
