Magshield

Daiwa's unique waterproof structure that creates a magnetic oil wall between the body and rotor to block intrusion of seawater, dust, etc. The body and rotor are contactless, maintaining smooth rotation and long-term initial performance. Many causes of rotational noise are salt gumming and foreign object intrusion. Except for cases where water is accidentally dropped, the rotation noise occurrence rate of magshielded reels is significantly reduced. Moreover, this ratio tends to show a greater difference over time, indicating that the longer the use, the more effective the protection. Air Rotor
