The new standard for SW spinning makes its debut. Equipped with a full metal (AL material) monocoque body and large-diameter tough digital gear, enabling powerful and smooth winding. Full metal (AL material) monocoque body

Traditional spinning reels support the drive gear at both ends with a body and body cover fixed by several screws. To improve accuracy and rigidity, the body cover was eliminated, and a high-precision plate was directly screwed into the body, creating a monocoque body. This increases gear support accuracy and enhances rigidity and airtightness. Additionally, space previously occupied by screws was utilized to enlarge the drive gear. The term "monocoque" means "single shell" (from Mono and Coque). Its strength, like that of a shell of a clam, symbolizes a completely new form that breaks the conventional reel structure. In CALDIA SW, this sufficient rigidity is balanced with lightweight considerations, achieving a well-balanced design targeting each reel size.

Magshield

Creates a magnetic oil barrier between the body and rotor to block intrusion of seawater, dust, etc., providing waterproof structure. Since the body and rotor are contactless, smooth rotation is maintained while preserving initial rotational performance over a long period.

Aiming for further precision and rigidity, the body cover was eliminated, and a high-precision plate was directly screwed into the body, forming a monocoque body. This increases gear support accuracy and improves rigidity and airtightness.


ATD

Controls drag force in response to fish pulling, preventing the fish from gaining the lead. To utilize this feature, a loose drag setting is effective. During hooking, it applies strong drag, but always maintains drag against the fish's pull, allowing landing without excessive thrashing even for large fish.
