ATD

Controls the drag force in response to the fish's pull, preventing the fish from gaining the lead. To utilize this feature effectively, a loose drag setting is recommended. During hooking, it applies strong force, but always maintains the drag to respond to the fish's pull, allowing for landing even large fish without excessive thrashing.


ZAION Air Rotor

By thoroughly analyzing the lightweight design of the line roller and the bale structure of spinning reels, which makes it difficult to evenly distribute weight on the rotation axis, proper distribution is calculated. This work achieves a rotor with light winding and, utilizing the compact body features, reduces the rotor's radius of rotation, resulting in an even lighter rotor.


ZAION

A high-density carbon fiber woven into a carbon resin, surpassing magnesium in weight-to-strength ratio, making the impossible possible. It is highly rigid, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion unlike metals, and is used for key parts of the reel.







Seamless new shape air bale

2BB line roller / Twist Buster II

Perfect Line Stopper

A new shape line stopper that supports both fine lines like PE and thicker lines like leader. Its horizontally elongated design reduces space vertically and contributes to spool lightening.


Stopperless body

The body structure is simplified by removing the stopper. The decision to eliminate the stopper, which is a pathway for water and foreign objects, not only reduces weight and improves waterproof performance but also minimizes sudden troubles during tough environments or when handling large fish, as expected in the LUVIAS series.


LC-ABS Long Cast-ABS

Maintains the idea of reducing contact resistance of ABS, but moves the contact point forward for smoother line release. The ring protrudes forward, making it harder for the line to ride on the ring, resulting in about 5% increased casting distance and fewer troubles. It is a next-generation ABS spool that realizes LC LONG CAST.
