Aluminum JOG power lever

Made of aluminum, providing excellent grip performance, even with wet fingers. The JOG power lever allows intuitive control of speed and response.


Magsealed ball bearings

Used on the side plate spool shaft axis, which is most prone to salt gumming and difficult maintenance. Maintains initial performance of spool free/winding efficiency.


MAGMAX motor

Uses special neodymium magnets, resulting in a responsive brush motor with excellent quick response, allowing the angler to control winding as desired. Also has torque for slow winding. FF Magmaite structure.


ATD automatic drag system

A new generation drag system that operates smoothly according to the fish's pull and continues to work smoothly. Designed for small spinning and electric reels to pursue slip and follow-up. For large spinning reels like Saltiga, it suppresses drag reduction during fighting. Developed so that anglers can focus on fighting without worrying about drag settings.









MAGMIGHT structure (Magmaite structure)

FF structure (Front-Facing structure)

SYNCHRO LEVEL WIND

Mechanism where the level wind line guide reciprocates left and right in response to spool rotation during both dropping and winding, maintaining a neat line lay and enabling smooth bait drop. Also ensures smooth drag withdrawal.

JOG_POWER_LEVER (JOG Power Lever)

The power lever is moved to the center of the body, and its shape is changed from a lever to a jog dial style, allowing winding and clutch ON/OFF with just the thumb of the hand holding the rod, freeing the other hand from operation. When holding the rod, the thumb naturally rests on the upper part of the body, making ergonomic sense. The "JOG Power Lever" enables free operation with just one thumb.







MAGSEALED_BALL_BEARING (Magsealed ball bearing)

Daiwa's unique technology "Magshield" has further evolved. By suppressing water and foreign object intrusion into the ball bearing, it maintains performance while significantly reducing rust, salt gumming, and noise. It has successfully improved waterproof and durability. In electric reels, it is used on the side plate spool shaft axis, which is most prone to salt gumming and difficult maintenance. Further waterproof and durability improvements sustain initial performance.


Fall brake dial

A brake system that instantly sets fall speed. Can be controlled with the thumb from spool free to maximum brake within a 180-degree range. Prevents backlash, allows bait to fall smoothly without finger-slinging, and enables catching fish bites during fall.
