Want to fish comfortably with a size similar to 300, but with more line capacity. Still desire power and speed. The SEABORG400J embodies these voices. Line capacity is PE4号 400m, 5号 300m. It achieves the line capacity that the SEABORG300J previously lacked. Weighing 585g, it is 240g lighter than the SEABORG500JP. In other words, it allows fishing that was done with size 500 to be done with the feeling of size 300. It handles not only Yari Surume but also sea bream, bluefish, mid-deep sea, and drop shot. Technologically, it features a one-hand comfortable operation JOG power lever, MAGMAX motor with torque and instant power, smooth ATD, waterproof durability technology MAGSEALED ball bearings, and Daiwa technology. It also includes a highly visible dot LCD and a fall brake dial essential for adjusting fall speed, supporting mobile electric settings.

JOG_POWER_LEVER (JOG Power Lever)

The power lever is moved to the center of the body and changed to a jog dial style, allowing winding and clutch operation with just the thumb of the hand holding the rod, freeing the other hand from operation. When holding the rod, the thumb naturally rests on the upper part of the body, making ergonomic sense. The "JOG Power Lever" enables free operation with just the thumb.

MAGSEALED_BALL_BEARING (Magsealed ball bearing)

Daiwa's unique technology "Magshield" has evolved further. By suppressing water and foreign object intrusion into the ball bearing, it maintains performance while significantly reducing rust, salt gumming, and noise. Fall brake dial
