Equipped with ATD, Synchronized Level Wind, and "Electronic Drag Sound," it achieves smooth drag performance even with fine lines. Additionally, the drag force adjustment range has been expanded from 0.5 to 4.0, allowing more precise adjustments. Because Tairaba uses fine lines, these features help reduce the risk of losing fish and support anglers. The basic performance is refined with "HYPERDRIVE DESIGN," enabling high winding performance even under high load. Furthermore, it adopts a 150mm AL-made crank handle to eliminate the weight of the deep Tairaba's winding, allowing for comfortable fishing throughout the day.

Synchronized Level Wind

Synchronized Level Wind is a mechanism where, when releasing the line, the level wind follows the line position in sync, moving left and right. The advantage is less resistance during line release. It also improves smoothness during drag operation.


Electronic Drag Sound

A function that detects spool rotation and conveys drag operation with an "electronic sound." Conventional mechanical click structures, which play an important role in conveying drag operation to anglers, involve ratchet structures and sound pins inside the drive gear that generate physical resistance. By removing this mechanical structure and installing "Electronic Drag Sound," both smooth drag performance and more audible drag sounds are achieved.

A 10-unit water depth counter with depth, alarm, and selection modes of 1, 3, 5 times or OFF. Defaults are fall 5 times and up 1 time. Displays winding speed, falling speed, timer, and input for rig deployment time. Equipped with LED backlight (5 seconds on, always on, or off).
