The STEEZ A TW, which has delivered toughness and stability in winding to many users, evolves into the second generation. It is armed with the toughness cultivated on the tough American tournament trails, and equipped with the next-generation bait reel design concept "HYPERDRIVE DESIGN." The robust HYPER ARMED HOUSING FULL-AL that fits comfortably in the angler’s hand remains unchanged, while the HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR further refines rotational performance, enabling smooth and high-power winding even under high load. Of course, it also boasts high durability. The STEEZ A II TW features a newly developed φ34mm G1 Juralumin ultra-high-precision MAG-Z BOOST spool. Compared to conventional models, it achieves about 5% lighter weight (excluding BB), resulting in a high-response spool that is attractive for practical casting performance in tough fields. It is equipped with a high grip I-shape large knob S type to assist smooth winding, and a newly designed 90mm AL handle. Additionally, the star drag is also made of AL, and features drag adjustment, drag release click, and MAGSEALED ball bearings as standard. This makes it a solid long-distance model suitable for saltwater as well as bass fishing, embodying the true answer modern anglers seek.

In the STEEZ A II TW, not only winding but also the revolution in flight performance has been boldly challenged. Using the super lightweight and high rigidity G1 material, the φ34mm spool diameter remains the same as the previous model, but the spool’s line winding surface has been newly refined to a shallow groove. The brake unit has also been renewed. The optimized line capacity is 14lb.-100m / 16lb.-90m. Slightly below the previous flagship 16lb.-100m, this figure allows for ample thick line stock while reducing the distance by about 10 meters compared to conventional models. This signifies a true answer to modern scene demands. The lighter the spool’s weight, the better its rotational performance and response. To fight through the tough modern environment, it is also true that reducing the overall spool weight by narrowing the line line to the line directly connected to the fish is effective. To increase the chance of meeting a fish, everything must be smooth, trouble-free, and capable of long-distance casting with high accuracy, including low trajectory shooting.

The synergy with the large opening level wind TWS allows access to unknown zones.

It also helps to conceal the angler’s presence, avoiding pressure and unnatural cues, thus encouraging natural bites. MAGSEALED BALL BEARING

Due to the structure of bait reels, seawater inevitably enters through gaps between the spool and body, with the pinion gear bearing being most affected by salt. In the STEEZ A II TW series, one MAGSEALED ball bearing is used on the pinion gear support side, which is most prone to salt damage and difficult to maintain. This improves waterproofing and durability, maintaining initial performance.

Φ34mm G1 Juralumin spool

A special aluminum alloy called G1 Juralumin, which exhibits twice the strength of magnesium and 1.3 times that of super juralumin. Its ultra-lightweight and excellent rigidity are used in aircraft structural materials and precision equipment, making it the highest grade lightweight alloy. To maintain the same strength, the spool’s line winding surface is only thinned without boring, ensuring sufficient strength while keeping weight down.


Drag release click
