Air Brake System

A brake system that significantly improves accuracy performance and achieves an extremely low backlash, providing a stress-free experience. Combines a lightweight impact rotor structure and lightweight spool to greatly improve rotational response as a spool unit. Designed to work with a highly effective magnetic brake that clearly switches on and off, it provides strong braking during full cast and low-trajectory shooting during pitching and low-speed casts. The spool quickly rises with little force, allowing for surprisingly good casting even without effort, and effectively brakes against backlash zones caused by excessive force. As a result, it offers high-level compatibility of pitching and casting with the same brake setting, providing a comfortable experience.


SV CONCEPT SV Concept

The SV, which leverages the practical benefits of magnet-based brakes, is less prone to backlash and easy to cast, resulting in more catches. With just a dial adjustment, it can handle lightweight rigs around 4-5g to heavy lures without stress. No need to change spools or open side plates for setup. Among existing bait reels, the SV has the broadest lure range, suitable for both bank and boat fishing, regardless of style or field. The Air Brake System maximizes the effectiveness of the magnetic brake, completing a new era of versatile reels.


TWS T-WING SYSTEM T-Wing System

In recent years, spool lightweighting and reduced resistance have greatly increased spool rotation speed. Daiwa addressed this by reducing resistance at the line guide near the spool, where the spool's rotation speed is highest. TWS reduces resistance at the line guide close to the spool, promising less backlash, better flight, improved control, faster fall, and less backlash. TWS enhances all basic performance of bait reels.
