HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT

A drive support system that realizes sustained smoothness and strong, lightweight winding. By supporting both ends of the pinion gear with two ball bearings with high precision, it reduces input from the handle, allowing powerful and light winding even under load.

HYPER ARMED HOUSING AL)

A housing system that internally supports the structure with high rigidity and high precision, producing delicate winding feel and power. Using metal materials for the frame is essential, and combined with side plates and set plates, it enables the basic performance to be maintained longer. G1 duralumin spool

A special aluminum alloy called G1 duralumin, which exhibits twice the strength of magnesium and 1.3 times that of super duralumin. Its ultra-lightweight and excellent rigidity material is used in aircraft structural materials and precision equipment, representing the highest grade of lightweight alloy. To maintain the same strength, the spool's winding surface is only thinned without boring, ensuring sufficient strength.

Drag release click

Aiming for top-class smooth operation and high drag performance to catch big fish, not only maximum drag but also smooth operation following the fish's pull. It is equipped with a drag release click that alerts the angler to line system tension during sudden fish runs, providing a significant advantage.

Perfect double stopper

In addition to the standard stopper, it features a mechanical stopper. It has high durability and a safety function that prevents reverse rotation even if the infinite stopper fails, thanks to the second mechanical stopper.

200 size specification

Equipped with a dedicated 200 size spool, different from the "super long cast performance" aimed for in the IM Z LIMITBREAKER TW HD-C series. Line capacity is 18 lb. nylon/fluro 100 m. Suitable for lures around 10 g up to about 110 g, offering relatively stable brake control and versatility.

DAIWA CONNECTING-SYSTEM

The reel connects with the DAIWA app, transmitting log data stored in the reel to a smartphone, allowing you to view fishing logs within the app. It enhances reel performance and allows brake mode downloads, offering expandability. Please turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone. Keep the IM Z connected to your smartphone within a close distance for stable connection. Multiple connections to one smartphone are not possible.

LED light (4 lights)

An LED light (4 lights) is installed on the side plate for grip. It displays different colors, number of lights, and notification sounds to indicate current function modes and status modes. Example display: Charging mode: Green 1-4 lights (red 1 light when battery is nearly empty), Brake mode: Light blue 1-4 lights (initial setting STANDARD mode), Mag dial value: Light blue 1-4 lights, blinking included, 8-step setting, Indicator: White 1 light for brake mode change (hidden at shipment), White 2 lights for shutdown.

Control switch

A control switch is placed on the grip side of the side plate. With a single operation, it can start up, shut down, set brake force, and change brake modes. The LED light and operation sound work together to enhance ease of use. Some familiarity with operation is required. Various mode settings can be made with short or long presses. Refer to the instruction manual for details. When changing brake modes, opening or closing the grip side of the side plate is unnecessary, allowing instant brake mode switching according to the situation.

Battery charging

Since it has a built-in battery, charging is necessary. There is a connection terminal behind the grip side of the side plate. Open or close the battery cap of the connection terminal, connect the included charging cable straight and firmly into the terminal, and charge. The connection terminal is waterproof. Please ensure the device is not wet during charging. Do not charge if the device is wet. After charging, close the battery cap before use.

Expandable intelligent Magforce

A brake system that detects spool rotation and digitally controls brake force for each mode. It allows instant switching to completely different brake characteristics with just the control switch outside the side plate. It can handle long-distance casting modes, as well as adaptability to headwinds, large air resistance lures, and versatile performance without changing the spool, showcasing the IM concept's appeal and benefits. Additionally, brake modes can be updated via the DAIWA app, enabling the reel's performance to grow. It supports swapping between 200 spools and LIMITBREAKER spools, each offering different casting feel according to spool characteristics, further expanding casting enjoyment.
