With increased rigidity and gear support accuracy from the monocoque body, silky rotation is realized. The body without flex and the precisely meshed gears provide a smooth rotation, allowing for comfortable winding.

Improved winding power and rotational durability

Enlarging the drive gear diameter enhances power and rotational durability. It maintains powerful winding during interactions and lure retrieval, and sustains initial rotational performance over a long period, achieving a high level of real fishing durability in IMPULT.

Enhanced waterproofness with screwless monocoque body

The screwless monocoque body, with no gaps, improves airtightness, and the adoption of Magshield pinion reduces water ingress into the body, significantly enhancing waterproofing.

Design commitment

To realize a refined IMPULT with a monocoque body, the 2500XH-LBD, 3000LBD, and 3000XH-LBD emphasize silver to give a "mechanical" impression, while the competition LBD adopts a design emphasizing the red lever, following traditional competition design, creating a distinctive appearance.

Smooth anti-reverse free

The monocoque body also improves the rotation performance during rotor reverse in LB reels. It increases the support precision of the spool shaft, reducing wobble during reverse. The silky rotation remains consistent during reverse, and the smooth anti-reverse free surpasses one-way oscillation performance.

Drive gear material

Adopts ultra-juralumin aluminum machined tough Digi gear with special surface treatment, increasing surface hardness and reducing deformation under high load. Equipped on all items.

MONOCOQUE BODY

Traditional spinning reels support the drive gear ends with the body and body cover, fixed by several screws. To improve precision and rigidity further, the body cover was eliminated, and a high-precision plate was directly screwed into the body, creating a monocoque body. This increases gear support accuracy, rigidity, and airtightness. Additionally, space previously occupied by screws was utilized to maximize the size of the drive gear.

MAGSEALED

Daiwa's unique waterproof structure creates a magnetic oil barrier between the body and rotor, preventing intrusion of seawater, dust, etc. Since the body and rotor are contactless, rotation remains smooth and light, maintaining initial rotational performance over a long period.

ZAION

A carbon resin woven with high-density carbon fibers, lightweight, strong, and highly resistant to corrosion. It surpasses magnesium in specific strength, making it a material that makes the impossible possible. Used in main parts like the body and rotor, contributing to high rigidity and lightweight design.
