The monocoque body is the solid framework of AIRITY. It is made of magnesium (Mg) and covered with an aluminum (Al) engine plate. In other words, all metal. The Magshield incorporated into the rotor makes it even more reliable. Lightness without actual fishing strength is meaningless. Daiwa's commitment to reel design is embodied in AIRITY.

MAGSEALED

Magshield cap and clutch ring at the base of the main shaft. Parts are non-contact, and Mag oil is filled into the tiny gap of less than 1mm. This achieves waterproofing, dustproofing inside the body, and smooth rotation.

MAGSEALED LINE ROLLER

A Magshield is used on the line roller part, which is very susceptible to water influence. It prevents sticking, ensures long-term operation, and significantly reduces line troubles caused by line twist.
