The new standard for saltwater spinning debuts. Features a full metal (AL) monocoque body with a large-diameter tough digital gear, enabling powerful and smooth winding. With 9 items ranging from size 4000 to 18000, it covers light shore casting, SLJ, yellowtail casting, big game like tuna casting, and more.

Full metal (AL) monocoque body

Traditionally, spinning reels supported the drive gear at both ends with a body and body cover fixed by several screws. To improve precision and rigidity, the body cover was eliminated, and a high-precision plate was directly screwed into the body, creating a monocoque body. This increases gear support accuracy, rigidity, and airtightness. It also allows for a larger drive gear by utilizing space previously taken by screws. "Monocoque" means "single shell" in French. Its robust shape, like a shell of a clam, breaks conventional reel structure norms. In CALDIA SW, this structural strength is balanced with lightweight considerations, targeting optimal balance for each reel size.

Magshield

A waterproof structure that creates a magnetic oil wall between the body and rotor to block intrusion of seawater and dust. Since the body and rotor are contactless, smooth rotation and initial performance are maintained over a long period.


Full metal (AL) monocoque body

Aiming for higher precision and rigidity, the body cover was eliminated, and a high-precision plate was directly screwed into the body, forming a monocoque structure. This enhances gear support accuracy and improves rigidity and airtightness.


ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag)

Controls drag force in response to fish's pull, preventing the fish from gaining the upper hand. To utilize this feature, a loose drag setting is effective. It applies strong drag during hooking but always maintains drag against the fish's pull, allowing for landing even large fish without excessive thrashing.
