■Story

Once upon a time, cherry blossoms bloomed all year round. Now, that story is a thing of the past.

Hatsune Island was widely known as a naturally rich island that showed different expressions with each season.

On Hatsune Island, there is Kazami Academy.
There, second-year student Yoshino Kiyotaka, who attends the school, is active as a newspaper club member along with five girls: senior and school idol Morinomi Tatsuya, childhood friend and younger sister-like Kuzuha Hime, half-Japanese and cousin Yoshino Charles, and others.

However, on the current Hatsune Island, where mysterious events are no longer overflowing as in the past, no particularly noteworthy incidents occur, and they spend their days idly in the clubroom.

—One winter day.

Despite it being winter, the cherry blossoms on Hatsune Island suddenly began to bloom all at once.
Furthermore, all the members of the newspaper club received emails simultaneously on their phones. The sender was unknown. The contents were,

'When the cherry blossoms bloom, at that promised place—'

The latter half was garbled and unreadable. But that mysterious sentence seemed to carry some deep meaning.
And the sending date and time was surprisingly set to 1951.

"This is an email from the past! Don’t you think it directly indicates our current situation?
Where is that promised place? What will happen there?
And why did the cherry blossoms suddenly start blooming? We, the newspaper club, will unravel this mystery!"

The newspaper club president Morinomi Tatsuya declared strongly.

Yoshino Kiyotaka and others proceed with their mysterious investigation.
They are invited to a withered cherry tree. Near it, a woman was standing.
Although they should be meeting for the first time, she felt very nostalgic.

"Shall we listen?"

The mysterious woman tells an old story.
It is a story from over 100 years ago in London, about her and Yoshino Kiyotaka’s encounters and farewells.

Kuzuha Kuzuha, the eldest son of the Kuzuha family, one of Japan’s leading magical families, and his sister Hime, go abroad to study at the Royal London School of Magic, known as Weathercock, located in London, England.

What awaited Kiyotaka and Hime in a foreign land was the cityscape of London shrouded in deep fog and a vast underground academic city.

An underground lake and three islands arranged in a crescent shape form the academy city.

There, young magicians from around the world gather to learn magic in the best environment.

Kiyotaka, despite being bewildered by the new environment, begins a joyful school life, meeting many friends. It’s a routine, ordinary, and dreamlike daily life, reminiscent of Da Capo...

One day, Kiyotaka was walking through London with Rikka.
Under a huge clock tower, they meet a girl.
The girl, holding a small cherry blossom branch, had lost most of her memory.
Tests revealed she was a magic user, and she would be temporarily taken in at Weathercock.

—Kiyotaka had a wish entrusted by his father.
To fulfill it, he needed to become a member of the student council at Weathercock.
He runs for student council president.

Meanwhile, a request from the queen arrives.
There are people using magic to hurt others—
To prevent incidents, Kiyotaka and others rush through the foggy streets of London.

The mystery girl with amnesia, the ever-present fog, and her magical cherry blossom branch.
The gears of fate for Kiyotaka and others begin to turn.

It’s a story of repeated encounters and farewells, like Da Capo.
