Formed by Bill Champlin (former Chicago), Joseph Williams (TOTO), and Peter Frampton, and debuting in 2016, this super project’s highly anticipated third album after four years has finally arrived. The newly completed album features Jason Scheff, who has been active as Voice Of Chicago for about 30 years alongside Bill Champlin, and continues the same style as the previous album, showcasing a perfect contemporary AOR full of longing for ’80s West Coast sound. With stunning twin vocals, superb melodies, and meticulous sound production, it is packed with outstanding songs that truly embody Chicago meets TOTO!
Bill Champlin joined Chicago in 1982 with the album ‘Chicago 16’ and served as vocalist and songwriter for 27 years. Joseph Williams joined TOTO in 1986 starting with ‘Fahrenheit’ and was active as TOTO’s third vocalist until the 1988 release ‘The Seventh One ~ The 7th Sword’. Since the 2010 reformation of TOTO, he has been a main member and performed in Japan last year.
