Features of ONEU
・Traditional Bizen ware clay (Hyose) and mountain soil are mixed with Mitsuishi soapstone, also collected in Bizen. While utilizing the characteristics of soft and highly breathable Hyose clay, the addition of soapstone further enhances the durability of the vessel.
Furthermore, while using glaze, which is unusual for Bizen ware, the glazing is applied to only half of the vessel, preserving the pleasant texture of the traditional clay.
Easy-to-use size and shape
With a capacity of approximately 180ml (filled to 90%), it has the same shape as a traditional soba choko, a familiar and standard form.
It has a pleasant mouthfeel, and its clean, simple design makes it suitable for both Japanese and Western settings.
