Story
"In order to revive her sister whom she has killed, she ventures into the afterlife."
Rei, a girl who has wandered into the otherworldly realm of "Hengoku" where monstrous beings writhe, and her younger sister Mirai.
Rei awakens to supernatural abilities and fights, but due to her power running amok, she ends up killing Mirai with her own hands.
In her despair, a demon whispers to Rei:
— If you harvest the souls of Hengoku and offer tears shed through suffering, you can revive the dead Mirai through "Yomigaeri."
Rei, having contracted with a demon for her sister's sake, steps onto a stage of life-threatening battles.

Battles start seamlessly, and attacks are triggered instantly by pressing buttons in an action-oriented format.
As the story progresses, players can select from four characters, including Rei Hatada, and switch freely during combat.
Summon "Guardians," entities embodying the characters' ideals, and fight together while unleashing powerful special moves.

The ghosts fighting in Hengoku are originally humans. Defeating them leaves behind anguished screams.
These dying cries linger even after returning to reality, gradually corroding Rei’s heart.
- Crying to Grow Stronger: Catharsis
By returning to her real room and shedding tears while recalling the final moments of defeated souls, she can purify these dying cries.
Overcoming her burdens allows her to grow mentally and creates "Shiso," equipment that can be used in Hengoku.

Set in the afterlife, featuring characters burdened with cruel fates, each with a unique personality.
As the story progresses, shocking truths are revealed, and their stories can be enjoyed through dramatic presentation and full voice acting.
