LUNA SEA's 30th anniversary memorial year release, their 10th original album 『CROSS』, finally decided to be released!
The album 『CROSS』 is a bold work created by LUNA SEA, who have produced all their previous works self-produced, with the addition of world-renowned music producer Steve Lillywhite, who has won five Grammys, as a co-producer and mixing engineer for the first time. This is also a historic event in the Japanese music scene, as Steve Lillywhite worked on a Japanese artist for the first time.
The album includes tracks such as the opening theme “Poetry of the Universe ~Higher and Higher~” for the first part of the NHK General TV broadcast 『Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN: Prequel - Red Comet』, the second opening theme “Tragic Beauty”, and a total of 11 songs.
The release formats are “First Limited Edition A”, “First Limited Edition B”, and “Regular Edition”.
First Limited Edition A (CD+DVD): Includes a DVD with the music videos for “Poetry of the Universe ~Higher and Higher~ -Live Version-”, reconstructed from the live footage of the concert held at Nippon Budokan in May this year, and “Tragic Beauty” MV. It is a 【CD】+【DVD】 set.
First Limited Edition B (2CD+DVD): Includes a bonus CD with the cover of the third theme song “BEYOND THE TIME ~Overcoming the Mebius Universe~” for 『Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN: Prequel - Red Comet』, and a DVD with two versions of the lyric MV for “Poetry of the Universe ~Higher and Higher~” (Japanese and English versions). It is a 3-disc set 【CD】+【CD】+【DVD】.
