Q&A
Q: What kind of treatment is CPAP?
A: It is a treatment method that widens the airway to prevent sleep apnea. CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) therapy consists of a CPAP machine (about 15-20 cm in size), a tube that delivers air at a preset pressure, and a mask that is placed on the nose. This is worn during sleep to improve breathing.
Q: Is the CPAP machine difficult to operate?
A: The usability is the same as everyday electrical appliances. Operation is as simple as connecting the power and turning on the switch. The main unit is also small enough to be carried by one person.
Q: When should CPAP be used?
A: It is used during sleep. Please use it when traveling or when hospitalized. The usage time is for the entire night, from when you go to bed until you wake up in the morning.
Q: I can't wear the mask properly.
A: The fit of the mask is greatly influenced by the tightness of the headgear. Masks are consumables, and their fit may worsen due to deterioration.
Q: The mask has discolored and changed shape. Should I replace it?
A: As it ages with use, the material changes. If the changes are severe, it may interfere with CPAP treatment, so please replace it with a new one as soon as you notice the change.
