This authentic suspense "Confession Sings: Metropolitan Police Department Inspection Files," which aired and streamed in August 2021 and achieved great success.
Known as "the police within the police," it depicts the undercover investigation of the Metropolitan Police Department's personnel misconduct control unit, the Professional Group known as the Police Personnel Division 1 (commonly called Jinichi), and the tense atmosphere of "police chasing police," captivating many viewers.
Since immediately after the final episode aired, there have been numerous requests for a sequel, and it has finally returned as the second season!

Based on two works, the sequel novels "Black List: Metropolitan Police Department Inspection Files" and "Echoes: Metropolitan Police Department Inspection Files," both by Genta Ikekane, an energetic and talented author, the entertainment has been scaled up from the previous season to create a more impressive production!

■ A cast of luxurious actors gathered!
Continuing from the previous season, Masahiro Matsuoka reprises his role as Sada Masaki, the protagonist belonging to the Jinichi Inspection Unit, and Tōru Nakamura returns as his superior, Inspector Keichiro Noma.
Also returning are Tetsuyō Ikeda as the Inspection Unit Chief Tōru Suga, Rika Minami as Nako Minaguchi, who was targeted for inspection in the previous season but now joins Sada in uncovering the full extent of misconduct, and Shōta Totsuka as Kōta Saitō, Sada’s junior from the Criminal Investigation Division who died heroically in front of Sada.

New characters introduced in this season include:
- Hirohei Mōri, a rookie transferred from the Cyber Countermeasures Headquarters, played by Bunichi Hamamatsu.
- Michio Hara, the squad leader watching over Sada and others, played by Sports Makita.

Additionally, a rich lineup of talented and prominent actors such as Hidekazu Mashima, Ikkei Watanabe, Shōhei Ueno, Kiyu Iida, Mirai Yamamoto, Kenta Inuzuka, Ayumu Yamada, and Shingo Mizusawa gather for this season!

【Synopsis】
One day, a tip-off letter arrives at the Metropolitan Police Department’s Personnel Division 1 (commonly called Jinichi). It claims that information on the investigation of a special fraud crime being pursued by Investigation Division 2 has been leaked by someone, hinting at involvement by a management officer.

Sada (Masahiro Matsuoka), who has been assigned to Jinichi for two years, is summoned by his superiors, Noma (Tōru Nakamura) and Suga (Tetsuyō Ikeda), and is ordered to lead the investigation to uncover the truth.

Along with Nako Minaguchi (Rika Minami), who was assigned to Jinichi a year ago, squad leader Michio Hara (Sports Makita), and the newly transferred Mōri (Bunichi Hamamatsu), Sada begins surveillance of the management officer’s actions.

From the suspicious behavior of the management officer, Sada makes a certain inference. However, amidst this, information from investigation materials is leaked online, leading to a situation where Sada and others are put in danger...
