- By physically limiting (adjusting) the stroke of the coil suspension, it can be used as a countermeasure product to prevent bottoming out on cars lowered with ride height adjustment kits or lowering springs, mitigating the disadvantage of a rougher ride due to lowering the vehicle height and improving ride comfort.
Additionally, if the front and rear ride heights are not aligned, it can also be used to raise the ride height, serving as a balancer for aligning the front and rear.
- A wide variety of sizes are available, allowing you to choose the height (thickness) that best suits your application and purpose.
If you want to improve ride comfort or reduce bottoming out and noise from excessive compression while keeping the ride height the same, choose a spacer with a thickness close to the gap when the spring is compressed without lifting the vehicle. If you want to raise the ride height, choose a spacer with a thickness close to the gap when the spring is extended with the vehicle lifted.
The thicker the spacer, the greater the effect of raising the ride height.
