The radiator circulates cooling water in the water jacket, which has been heated by the combustion of the air-fuel mixture inside the engine cylinders, using a water pump, and stabilizes the water temperature through running wind and heat dissipation.
It is installed at the front of the engine or below the headlamps, where it is easily exposed to running wind and has high heat dissipation efficiency.
When driving at low speeds continuously, when stopped at idling, or during hot summer days with high outside temperatures, the cooling performance may not be sufficient, so an electric cooling fan is installed behind the radiator to dissipate heat.
If road debris is kicked up by the vehicle in front and hits the radiator, causing damage, the engine may overheat and be damaged if left as is, so replacement is necessary.
By using an affordable aftermarket part with the same performance as a genuine part instead of an expensive genuine part for replacement, costs can be reduced.
