O2センサーは空燃比センサーとして、排気ガスの中の酸素を検出する重要なパーツです。
現在のエンジンはコンピューターによって制御していますので、燃焼後の残っている酸素量で空燃比を計っています。
O2センサー不調の症状としては、燃費が悪くなった、マフラー内側のススの発生が多い、エンジン警告灯が点灯した等があります。
