In E25 Caravans with liquid-cooled radiators, the radiator itself is equipped with an electric fan.
The electric fan operates to prevent the coolant temperature from rising due to engine heat during low-speed driving in traffic jams where airflow to the radiator is reduced, or during hot summer weather, thereby maintaining the optimal temperature.
If the electric fan motor fails and stops working, the coolant temperature will rise, leading to overheating and potential breakdowns.
If the water temperature gauge indicates overheating but there is no decrease in coolant, and the thermostat shows no abnormalities, the electric fan may not be operating, requiring an inspection of the fan motor.
As it is a durable part, it is unlikely to break easily, but replacing it approximately every 5 years will provide peace of mind without causing trouble.
