The tea aroma burner is an item that lights a candle, heats tea leaves, and fills the space with the aroma of tea.The flame of the candle has a calming effect called "1/f fluctuation" (F-bun no Ichi Yuragi).With the concept of combining plant fragrances with the flickering of candles to create the ultimate relaxation space, the tea aroma burner blend was developed.
Currently, the relaxation habit using the tea aroma burner is gradually spreading. However, most dedicated tea leaves for the aroma burner are only green tea or roasted green tea blends, with few mixed products.In response, we collaborated with Kawamotoya Tea Shop, a tea professional based in Isezakicho, Yokohama City, and sincerely herb, a herbal tea blender, to jointly develop an original blend exclusively for the tea aroma burner.
There are two types: Daytime and Nighttime.Below is a brief overview of the characteristics of each blend.
【Daytime Blend: Ayakumo (彩雲)】"Ayakumo" refers to a rare atmospheric phenomenon where clouds near the sun display rainbow-like seven-colored patterns, visible only under specific conditions.Because it is rare, seeing Ayakumo has been considered auspicious since ancient times, and it is associated with good fortune and a sense of positivity.This blend combines four herbs to evoke a bright, forward-looking feeling that suggests good things are about to happen.The Holy Basil used has a refreshing aroma that makes your back feel light when inhaled, making it a highly regarded herb.Lemon Myrtle, known as the "Top of Lemon," is said to have seven times the lemon scent.It, along with Kumazasa (Japanese bamboo grass) used in the night blend, has antibacterial properties, and research shows that citrus scents reduce stress.The image is that of "Ayakumo" being ON when the deep green is OFF, making it perfect for mornings before work or for staying at home, giving an encouraging "Let's do our best!" boost.The daytime blend features a lemon scent with a refreshing aroma of green tea stems, black myrtle, and Holy Basil, spreading like aromatherapy.Enjoy it as if it were an aroma candle.
【Nighttime Blend: Deep Green (深緑)】This blend is inspired by a deep green color, not a new green, and is intended for use at night or on OFF days.It is based on the pleasant aroma of stem tea that evokes forests and tea fields, with a gentle wrap of the slightly sharp parts of stem tea in the mellow sweetness of mulberry tea, and deepened with Ashitaba to enhance the green depth.Kumazasa is included to promote familiarity and indoor antibacterial effects.Since it is made from four domestically produced teas, it has a nostalgic, familiar scent that relaxes both mind and body.It is ideal for relaxing before sleep or on OFF days.Designed to appeal to a wide range of ages, the aroma gradually changes about 15 minutes after lighting.Please enjoy the beautiful scent transition that evokes a sense of Japanese harmony.
This set includes two 50g leaf-type blends for daytime and nighttime, offering a cost-saving of ¥260 compared to purchasing separately.It is recommended for those who want to enjoy different blends for day and night.

- Stem Tea (Camellia sinensis)Made from the stems of tea leaves separated during the production of Sencha or Gyokuro.The stems of Gyokuro and high-grade Sencha are called Karigane tea, and Uji-produced Karigane tea is carefully selected for the aroma burner.The stems are slow to burn and have a long-lasting aroma, making the tea's fragrance more savory and prominent.
- Kuro-Moji (Black Magnolia) (Cinnamomum camphora)Written as "Kuro-Moji," this belongs to the camphor tree family.It has a high-quality, fragrant aroma that even tea master Sen no Rikyū loved, and is used for high-grade toothpicks in tea ceremonies.Unlike typical household toothpicks, it has a refreshing, forest-like scent, often called "forest bathing."Especially recommended for those experiencing accumulated stress.

- Kumazasa (Sasa palmata) (Poaceae)A familiar plant in Japan, known for its strong antibacterial and preservative effects.Historically used in Japanese life, including in bamboo sushi and bamboo rice cakes, and suitable for indoor purification.
- Ashitaba (Angelica keiskei) (Apiaceae)Named after its ability to sprout new leaves "even if picked today, they grow again tomorrow."Known for its strong vitality and as a longevity herb.Grows naturally in warm areas like Hachijojima and Oshima.Its rich aroma, reminiscent of thick matcha, evokes a forest bath experience.
