Turn back time and move forward. Sword fights, instant death, time rewind. A new sensation sword fighting action game appears here.
The heroine 'Kohaku' wakes up in an unknown factory. In front of her is a strange sword. The sword has a will and calls itself 'Exebreaker'. The Exebreaker has the power to rewind time by only 3 seconds, called the 'Uroboros System'. Without understanding the situation, Kohaku is guided by the Exebreaker. As she advances, she finds the transformed appearance of the sea city 'Kogen City' where Kohaku lives. Kohaku, together with the Exebreaker, approaches the mysteries of the ruined Kogen City.
Operate the heroine 'Kohaku (CV: Asuka Kadomoto)' wielding a large sword, fight, and get closer to the core of the story full of mysteries in this new sensation 2D side-scrolling action game. The biggest feature of this game is the ability called 'Time Reversal (Uroboros System)', which allows you to rewind time up to 3 seconds from the moment of instant death. Rewind time at the right timing to make failures disappear, and proceed through trial and error on the spot to perform the best actions and advance the game.
High-speed, thrilling actions such as dashing and wall-kicking. Sword fighting not only defeats enemies but also bounces back enemy bullets and turns a pinch into a chance, which is key to攻略. The mysteries deepen as you progress through the stages. Unique bosses and strategic exchanges with characters draw you into the world of COGEN. By accessing the 'Terminals' scattered across stages, you can further delve into the mysteries with your own hands.
The music is composed by 'Joe Hisaishi', known for the Tales series and DARK SOULS series. It provides fitting BGM for the heavy story of COGEN and the exhilarating action. Throughout the stages and the entire game, there are a variety of missions. Scores and defeat counts are also tracked, and past performance is automatically logged. This system makes it perfect for those who want to challenge themselves further.
