Musso Organic Coffee is the first organically certified coffee in Japan, obtained in 1990 as a coffee product.

Since then, for approximately 20 years, it has been loved by many for its consistent quality and delicious taste.

It uses carefully cultivated organic coffee green beans from South America, grown without the use of herbicides, insecticides, or chemical fertilizers.

No coloring agents, fragrances, or other additives are added, allowing you to enjoy the pure flavor of coffee.

We offer two types of flavor: an American-style light roast with a fragrant, lightly roasted aroma, and a deeply roasted, charcoal-baked variety with a rich aroma.

The light roast is a mellow, American-style ground coffee, ideal for a refreshing morning cup. For a wake-up call in the morning, enjoy the amber-colored, fragrant American-style light roast!

The dark roast has a rich aroma, perfect for espresso. It features a well-balanced, refined flavor where the bitterness, sweetness, and acidity of the coffee beans are harmonized, resulting in a full-bodied taste.

＜Coexistence of People and Nature — Organic Cultivation Method＞

The green beans used in Musso Organic Coffee are organically cultivated on farms in Peru, Guatemala, and Brazil.

Located at high altitudes of 800 to 1700 meters, these rich natural environments benefit from abundant rainfall and fertile volcanic soil, making them highly suitable for coffee cultivation.

The coffee beans are grown by local farmers using traditional methods. Managed by communities aimed at improving their livelihoods and protecting the surrounding environment, they work to maintain the prices of the coffee beans they cultivate and to protect natural resources such as soil, water sources, and forests. Coffee cultivation is carried out without destroying ecosystems, using compost and natural fertilizers, and pest control methods that utilize beneficial insects.

○ The coffee beans are a blend of 50% from Peru, 30% from Guatemala, and 20% from Brazil, ground to a medium-fine grind.

○ Certified organic under JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards).

○ From soil preparation to coffee bean production and roasting, the quality and safety are recognized as first-class by JONA.

○ Post-harvest treatments such as fumigation during import are not performed.
