■ Features
◆ Colac First works by the DSS* absorbing water into the stool to soften it appropriately, and bisacodyl directly stimulates the large intestine to promote active movement, facilitating smooth bowel movements without strain.
◆ The amount of bisacodyl per tablet is the smallest in the Colac series (2.5 mg), so you can start with a small dose and gradually adjust the intake as needed.

■ Indications and Effects
- Constipation
- Relief of symptoms associated with constipation:
Head heaviness, feeling of heat, skin troubles, pimples, loss of appetite (reduced appetite), abdominal bloating, abnormal intestinal fermentation, hemorrhoids

■ Usage and Dosage
Take the following amount before bedtime (or on an empty stomach) with water or lukewarm water.
Start with the minimum dose (1 tablet) and gradually increase or decrease based on bowel condition and response.

【For ages 15 and over】
- Dose per time: 1–4 tablets
- Frequency: Once daily

【For ages 11–14】
- Dose per time: 1–3 tablets
- Frequency: Once daily

【For under 11 years old】
- Do not take

**Note:**

5. How to take out the tablets:
- Press firmly on the protruding part of the blister pack to break the aluminum foil on the back and remove the tablet.
- Do not accidentally swallow the blister or break it with teeth, as this could cause injury to the esophageal mucosa.

〔Mechanism of Bowel Movement〕
- Food ingested through the mouth passes through the digestive tract (stomach and intestines), where digestion and absorption occur, and waste is expelled as stool over about 1–3 days.
- The last task of the large intestine is to absorb water from the food residue to form stool and transport it to the anus. Gradual water absorption shapes the stool. If this "transport" process slows down, constipation occurs.

◆ To relieve constipation, start by reviewing your lifestyle habits.
1. Regular bowel habits:
- Use the toilet at a fixed time each day (after breakfast is ideal).
- Do not suppress the urge to defecate.
2. Improve diet:
- Eat three regular meals daily with plenty of dietary fiber (vegetables, beans, potatoes, seaweed).
- Drink plenty of fluids.
3. Moderate exercise:
- Lack of exercise is a major cause of constipation.
- Engage in moderate exercise, strengthen abdominal muscles, and massage the abdomen.

1. For the first dose, use the minimum amount (1 tablet).
