背面は開口させて炭の調節がしやすくなっており、炭受けとロストルが分離するのでお手入れも簡単に出来ます。
市販の網（27×27cm）も使用できるよう本体に切り欠きを設けてあります。
検証により内部への空気の流れが最適になるような空気穴を設定し、テーブル面に対する熱の影響も問題ない構造になっています。
テーブルを傷つけないようゴムの脚が付いています。
