Synopsis
Shen Qiao, the Sect Leader of Xuantu Mountain, the foremost Daoist sect in the world, is defeated in a battle against Kun Ye, the strongest man of the Tujue, and is left critically injured.
He is rescued by Yan Wushi, who happens to pass by. However, Yan Wushi intends to lure Shen Qiao into his own Demonic Sect, Huan Yue Sect. Upon regaining consciousness, Shen Qiao has lost his sight, memory, and even his position as Sect Leader. He refuses Yan Wushi's offer and embarks on a journey to confirm the past. However, due to his beautiful appearance and exceptional martial arts skills, he faces continuous trials, including being pursued by members of the Demonic Sect and nearly becoming the male consort of an extremely wicked prince.
Yan Wushi reappears. Shen Qiao learns that his defeat against Kun Ye was due to betrayal by his comrades from Xuantu Mountain. With no place to return to, Shen Qiao decides to travel with Yan Wushi.
The capricious Yan Wushi sometimes coldly pushes away Shen Qiao, whose martial arts are weakened, and at other times takes meticulous care of him to the point where observers misunderstand their relationship.
