「一番茶(first picked)」とは、その年の最初の新芽を摘み取ってつくられたお茶のことで、ワインにたとえると"Beaujolais nouveau"と言えます。
冬の間に枝や葉にたくわえてきた栄養を十分に使い、低温の中でゆっくり時間をかけて育つため、甘み・旨み成分であるテアニン（アミノ酸の一種）が二番茶以降の3倍以上含まれています。そのため、もっとも高品質とされています。旨み成分が豊富なため、おいしいのです。
この商品は、京都府の限定茶園で生産された「有機栽培茶」の一番茶のみを使用しています。

美味しい飲み方
1.急須に一人当たり約4ｇの葉を入れます。
2.80℃くらいに冷ましたお湯を適量注ぎ、ふたをして約1分待ちます。
3.お茶の濃さが均一になるように、湯飲みに注ぎ、最後の一滴まで注ぎ切ります。
