Jigs in the "Long" category require significant initial input to trigger slide actions. These jigs are specialized to produce large lateral jumps, resulting in very strong appeal. However, they require steady, strong rod work, making delicate control of slide width difficult. Additionally, due to their large movement distance, they tend to quickly exit the prey area, limiting bite opportunities. The Zero One is designed to initiate movement with minimal force, making slide control easier through variations in rod work strength. Compared to jigs that favor quick actions—effective for yellowtail and mid-layer feeding species such as amberjack, yellowfin tuna, bluefin, and cutlassfish—the Semi-Long version is especially effective for yellowtail kingfish (Hiramasa), thanks to its superior sliding performance.
