Introducing the EDIFICE Sospensione ECB-2000 series, a combination model featuring both digital and analog displays that adopts a suspension arm design. "Sospensione" is the Italian word for suspension. Inspired by the double wishbone suspension used in formula cars, the design incorporates suspension arms composed of two upper and two lower parts at each of the four lugs. This exterior design strongly expresses the motorsports concept more than any previous EDIFICE model.
To withstand the rigorous use by mechanics, it employs EDIFICE's first carbon-reinforced resin case. Both in design and material, the watch embodies the spirit of motorsports.
Connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone app, it offers features such as automatic time correction for accurate time display, easy world time setting from approximately 300 cities, and transfer of stopwatch measurement data (to the nearest 1/1000 second) to the smartphone for viewing on the app. These functions meet the needs of racing teams.
Additionally, to assist racing staff with time management, it displays a countdown with small hands from 30 minutes before alarms and timers, and features a tough solar-powered system that generates power even from minimal light such as fluorescent lighting, as well as a double LED light that brightly illuminates the LCD and dial.
A sapphire glass that is resistant to scratches has been adopted for ease of use by mechanics. The ECB-2000YPB model features a resin band and a carbon bezel, while the ECB-2000YD model uses a solid stainless steel band.
