Ships in 1-5 business days: NWOBHM legends Saxon release their 23rd new album, created with Andy Sneap!
Saxon, the steel warriors, charging through this very moment! Among the veterans who survived NWOBHM alongside Iron Maiden and Def Leppard, the British treasure "Saxon," who steadfastly pursue the royal road of heavy metal, have completed their overwhelming 23rd new album, created with the acclaimed producer and Judas Priest guitarist, Andy Sneap! This is their first original album in four years since "Thunderbolt" in 2018, following last year's release of the band's first cover album, "Inspirations." It has become a new masterpiece, produced with a stable lineup centered around original members Biff Byford (vocals) and Paul Quinn (guitar), since drummer Nigel Glockler's return in 2005! The album title "Carpe Diem" is Latin from a poem by the 1st-century BC ancient Roman poet Horace, meaning "seize the day," "live for today," and "enjoy this moment." This is a powerful statement from the band.
