※(Before using a new product)◎ The surface of the griddle is coated with a lacquer to prevent rust.Before using a new product for the first time, please refer to the method below to remove the lacquer coating before use.1 Use a strong, stable barbecue grill or a safe place (such as a base made of bricks or stones) to ignite charcoal, briquettes, or other fuels.2 Once the fire is stable, place the griddle on the barbecue grill (base), and lightly apply cooking oil over the entire surface of the griddle.3 Add chopped vegetables and stir-fry well, or gradually dry-bake until smoke appears, then use a metal cooking utensil (such as a turner, spatula, or scraper) to scrub off the lacquer coating from the surface.The lacquer coating on the back side will gradually burn off with heating, so removal is not necessary.4 Remove the griddle from the heat and let it cool naturally, then wash thoroughly with a steel wool or metal brush while rinsing with water.※ If lacquer remains on the surface of the griddle, repeat the process from step 2.
※(Care and Storage)● After use, let it cool naturally before cleaning.● Wash with dish soap to remove dirt and burnt residues, then wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth to remove moisture and dry completely.● For significant dirt or burnt residues, scrub with a cleanser applied to a steel wool or metal brush.● After drying, apply a thin layer of cooking oil over the entire surface to prevent rust, and store in a dry indoor place.● Since it is a metal product, rust may occur depending on storage conditions. If rust appears, remove it with a steel wool or metal brush before use.
