Capturing the vivid colors seen at the moment a photographer presses the shutter, the PRO-100S is equipped with 8 dye inks. The excellent color vibrancy and glossiness characteristic of dye inks are further enhanced. Compared to Pro9000 Mark II, the color reproduction range in dark areas has expanded, more faithfully reproducing details hidden in shadows and the world envisioned by photographers.

To express a single color, the system considers color reproducibility and gradation, selecting the appropriate combination from countless ink combinations. It then determines the placement of ink droplets on the paper. This advanced system, which skillfully controls multi-color inks, supports the photo quality of the PIXUS PRO LINE.

"PRO Mode" allows printing with colors close to the impression seen on the monitor.

The color mode considers human visual characteristics and enables gamut mapping. This allows for photo prints that closely match the impression displayed on the monitor. By setting to "PRO Mode" in sRGB color space or "Use ICC Profile" in Adobe RGB color space, the final finish of the work can be completed entirely on the monitor.
