シャッタースピードにして約2-3段分の手ブレ補正（IS)を搭載した標準ズームレンズ。35ミリ判換算で27-136ミリ相当と使い勝手は良いが開放値は4-5.6とやや暗め。APS-Cサイズに合わせイメージサークルを持つが、装着できるのは『20D』と『EOS Kiss Digital』のみ。
