Thanks to the latest optical design, this ultra-wide-angle lens with a diagonal angle of view of 114° achieves high image quality across the entire frame.
By adopting two high-precision glass-molded aspherical lenses, it suppresses distortion aberration and improves peripheral image quality. Additionally, two UD lenses minimize chromatic aberration.
This results in high-resolution, high-contrast images with minimal color fringing at subject boundaries.
The optical design considers the reflection of incident light passing through the lens on the digital SLR camera’s image sensor, preventing adverse effects on image quality. Coatings are optimized to suppress flare and ghosting while maintaining good color balance.
The adoption of a circular aperture creates a natural and beautiful bokeh.
Excellent dust and water resistance
The mount, switch panel, and focus ring are designed with dustproof and drip-proof structures. This prevents dust and water droplets from entering the lens interior, enabling operation in more demanding environments.
