Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX

This is a macro-only flash compatible with E-TTL auto flash. It achieves full auto macro photography, which requires subtle light control. Extremely natural light metering is possible. The 2-light system allows for single-side lighting as well as light ratio control (1:8 to 8:1 in 1/2-stop increments, 13 steps). It is also easy to achieve three-dimensional depictions with natural contrast between highlights and shadows. In addition to various E-TTL features such as High-Speed Sync and FE Lock, modeling flash is also possible. Furthermore, wireless multi-light control function has been added. It can control up to 3 groups of EX series flashes equipped with a slave function. The guide number is 14 (ISO 100 m). The shortest adjustable lighting distance is approximately 20mm from the front of the light-emitting unit. It is equipped with 7 types of custom functions that can be set on the flash unit. The main unit can be powered by 4 AA alkaline or nickel-metal hydride batteries.
