Minato, a boy who has lost all memory except his own name, is exiled to Inuki Island, far from the mainland of Wano, as a criminal, a 'runaway'.
Though bewildered and not understanding anything, Minato is accepted by the island boys Kazuya, Nagisa, and Reiji. They interact with each other, sometimes clash, and grow, gradually forming strong 'bonds'.
Minato spends new, peaceful days, though his memories do not return. However, a dark power was gradually stealing the sunlight even from this peaceful island, far from the mainland.
Several months ago, the Honnoji Incident occurred on the mainland. The warlord Oda Nobunaga, who was on the verge of unifying the country, was assassinated in a rebellion, but his remains were never found.
Furthermore, at the same time, the sun began to dim, and the land of Wano was plunged into darkness. People whispered, 'Is it the wrath of the gods, or Nobunaga's curse?'
What happened at Honnoji?
When Minato thinks about it, he inexplicably feels uneasy.
What crime did Minato commit? Is there a connection between the Honnoji Incident, the dark power engulfing Wano, and Minato's lost memories?
Then, a voice echoes in Minato's mind, calling him.
"Minato... Minato!"
What future will Minato reach and build as he resists and obeys the fate and missions dictated by the machinations of the gods, and confronts difficulties?
