【Product Description】
The Kakejiku Jōkin is a Japanese-made hanging scroll.
It is mounted on thick paper with a sacred image called honshi, depicting Buddha, adhered to it, and the surrounding edges are decorated with red and purple cloth. Metal fittings are attached to the wooden lower rod to complete it. Each piece is handmade in Kyoto. Since the combination of the main deity and the accompanying attendants varies depending on the sect, a suitable honshi and a side hanging depicting the attendant Buddha are arranged according to each sect. Kidzuchimojin is the goddess of safe childbirth and child-rearing. It is enshrined on the left side when facing the Buddhist altar.
