本製品に使用している革は、兵庫県たつの市で鞣した国産皮革です。
たつの市は、兵庫県の西播磨地域に位置し、北の山地から南の瀬戸内海まで、南北に長い地形の中を林田川が流れている大自然環境に恵まれたエリアです。
革の鞣しには多くの水を使いますが、この大自然が育む軟水を使用することにより、イタリアンレザーにも負けない程に革の耐久性が上がり、劣化しづらい革になります。
兵庫県で生産される革素材は、全国シェアの約７０％を担いますがそのうちのほぼ半分をたつの市が占めています。
