This is the first time the Vienna Philharmonic has recorded all 11 works, including two in F minor and D minor, and has received high acclaim. Five pieces from this highly acclaimed complete set, for which there are currently no plans for individual sale, will be released individually only in Japan. ■ Symphony No. 7, which established Bruckner's reputation as a composer. The flowing writing, beautiful melodies, pleasant harmonies, and the intense lament, such as the exceptional tribute to his revered predecessor Wagner in the second movement, are characteristic of Bruckner and are found throughout the work, leaving a vivid impression on the listener's memory. For Thielemann, this is a favorite piece, having already released recordings with the Berlin Philharmonic and Staatskapelle Dresden. Here too, he brings out the beauty of the Vienna Philharmonic to construct a long, flowing musical line.
