The top-of-the-line Doctor Beat model features a Rhythm Coach function and a pendulum display on a large backlit LCD. A practical and versatile metronome for both home practice and live stage use. It boasts a large, highly visible backlit LCD with a pendulum display, various training functions, and a Note Mixing function for creating original rhythm patterns. Additionally, its comprehensive connection terminals enhance usability.
Equipped with a Rhythm Coach function ideal for individual practice.
In addition to basic metronome functions that mark the reference beat, it includes a Rhythm Coach function for effective rhythm training. By connecting a trigger pad such as a Roland V-Pad or using the built-in microphone, you can check your own timing deviations. The Time Check mode allows you to visually confirm deviations from the reference beat. The Gradual Up/Down mode enables practice by gradually changing the tempo. This is useful for developing accurate rhythm keeping and rich expression.
Includes various sound options such as human voice click sounds and drum tones.
The metronome includes 4 types of sounds, including the popular human voice. It also features 30 types of rhythm patterns in various musical genres using drum sounds, allowing for practical training without losing the beat.
Original patterns can also be created with the Note Mixing function.
The slider volume below the display allows for free combination of volumes for 4 types of rhythms and accents. By combining two types of beats, you can create original rhythm patterns from simple to complex beats with various dynamics.
Equipped with diverse functions such as Loop Play.
The Loop Play function, which allows you to memorize pattern specifications and repeat counts, enables effective training tailored to the song's feel. It's useful for creating training guides by combining various rhythms or practicing irregular rhythms. It also features a reference tone generation function, convenient for checking pitches during instrument tuning or voice training. Chromatic tones can be generated in the range of 5 octaves from C2 to B6. Furthermore, 50 metronome settings and 10 reference tone settings can be stored and recalled instantly.
Foot control is also possible.
By connecting foot switches such as the FS-5U or FS-6, the DB-90 allows for start/stop and memory up/down control, enabling comfortable operation even when the panel cannot be accessed.
Equipped with an input terminal. Can also be used as a simple monitor.
The input terminal allows you to connect instruments like guitars and basses. The sound of the connected instrument can be played back through the headphone jack with an amp simulator or the DB-90's built-in speaker, enabling effective guitar/bass training.
The DB-90 is also convenient as a click track source for live performances.
It is equipped with a MIDI IN terminal for synchronization with external MIDI devices. For example, it is useful when playing in conjunction with a sequencer system, such as using it as a click track source for live performances. When in MIDI slave mode, the tempo can also be confirmed on the large display. Of course, it also supports start/stop via MIDI.
