New Opening and Ending Theme for the TV Anime "Hanakappa" "Hanakappa" is a popular TV anime that began broadcasting on NHK Educational TV in April 2010 and is currently broadcast six days a week on NHK E Tele. Based on the picture book of the same name by Tadashi Akiyama, this popular TV anime depicts the heartwarming daily lives of a kappa family and their friends, on whom flowers bloom on their heads. Since its broadcast began, it has captured the hearts of children, and a long-awaited movie adaptation was realized in April 2013. In 2014, the broadcast on E Tele finally entered its fifth year. And, from April 2014, the opening and ending themes have been renewed. Miho Shinogaya, who makes her artist debut with this work, sings the upbeat opening theme "Boku ga Sakaseru Hana" (The Flower I Will Make Bloom), which cheers up listeners. Furthermore, Hanakappa and Garizo joyfully sing the ending theme "Shuwa Pika☆Hamigaki" (Sparkling☆Toothbrushing), which can be sung along to by parents and children while brushing their teeth.
