Each player starts with two mice and progresses through the junkyard, collecting building materials, light bulbs, apple cores, and cheese. Building materials can be used to construct rocket parts. Each acquired light bulb advances the decorative cable by one space, increasing future income. Acquired apple cores can be used to increase the number of mice or earn points for hibernation by storing them in the nest. You can also exchange them for comics to gain special skills effective in subsequent games. Along the way, collaborators like frogs and crows open shops and exchange various useful items for cheese. You can also earn additional points by donating cheese to stock up on food for the flight to the moon. The game ends when any player either puts all four of their mice on the rocket or places their eighth score marker, advancing the space program. The player with the most points makes the first step on the moon and wins.
